About the Program

From 2018, Disruptive Technologies has launched the Summer Internship annually as an engineering focus program. However, after the success of the first year, we expanded into other areas including Finance, Marketing, and Business Development. In 2019, we recruited over 10 students in our summer program in Norway.

In 2021, the summer internship will run for 8-12 weeks at our Oslo and Trondheim offices. We are providing opportunities for 3rd and 4th-year master students who want to apply their knowledge in a professional situation alongside diverse international colleagues.

We are looking for motivated, ambitious students who are curious about working in an international company. You will be given responsibility and will receive a variety of challenging and meaningful tasks. In DT, we believe that the best internship experience is when the new tools, processes, ideas, or perspectives that you bring become valuable and applicable to the company later. Therefore, you will be grouped with other summer interns into interesting projects with an assigned project manager/mentor to ensure you have the tools, resources, and support needed to achieve your and our professional and personal goals.

This is a paid internship period, starting from the middle of June and lasting until August.

As a DT intern you should have:

  • Passion for what you do
  • 1-2 years left of your studies (ideally)
  • Background in engineering, marketing, or business development.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

The perfect candidate has:

  • A mind that is exploding with curiosity, is knowledge-seeking and loves to take responsibility for projects.
  • Projects related to the subject you are passionate about.
  • Prior work experience at a technology company or startup.
