What is it and why should you join?

The Accenture Discovery Program offers you the opportunity to explore life as a consultant and what it entails. Explore Accenture, how we work and who you would be working with. Explore new technologies and exciting trends that are relevant to our customers. Last but not least, explore how you want to shape your career and how to find your place in work life after your studies.

When is it?

The program officially begins in December and continues until August.

What to expect?

The program includes social gatherings with educational input. We usually have four physical gatherings during the program, exploring new technology and trends, solving exciting new problems together with other talented students and Accenture employees.

The gatherings can typically entail workshops on various relevant topics such as sustainability, AI, XR, design thinking etc, as well as interview training in the form of case solutions, support with CVs and application letters, and meeting with the CEO and other exciting people in Accenture. Previous gatherings have taken place in Oslo and Geilo, where educational input has been combined with skiing and snowmobiling/rafting. Your will have your own mentor from Accenture who is dedicated to your development through monthly conversations.

Best of all, the program ends with an interview to Accenture’s summer internship next year. This is a paid 6-week internship where you will work in cross-functional teams, completing a real-life project just as our consultants. The internship could lead to a full-time position at Accenture, and Discovery can therefore be a steppingstone to becoming a consultant.

Who is it for?

If you are a student in your third year, curious about consulting life, with an interest in what technology can accomplish, and interested in meeting other inspiring students and consultants? Well, this program is for you! We are looking for students from various fields of study and universities, with good academic skills and extracurricular commitment.

In Accenture you will meet people from many different backgrounds, ranging from Computer Science, Psychology, Finance, Design, Cybernetics, Medicine, Business & Management, Supply Chain & Operations, Industrial management (Indøk), Macro Economics and Military Officer's Academy.
