We can offer interesting summer jobs for students who still have some years remaining of their studies. From day one you will be trusted with significant and exciting tasks, and work on real and important projects in a great work atmosphere.

Our design center is located in Nydalen, Oslo, with around 50 employees from 10 different countries. In total Silicon Labs has close to 1800 employees all over the world.


What You’ll Do

Projects are specifically tailored to each intern, ensuring a meaningful contribution to both your skillset and Silicon Labs. Here are just a few of the challenges you might get to tackle:

Job areas:

Digital design and verification Engineering - Working on low power design in a novel power management chip and designing circuits that achieve maximum power efficiency with minimum design & fabrication costs

Software Security Engineering.

  • Secure sub-system development and testing
  • Security sample application development
  • Penetration testing
  • Secure sub-system driver development

Validation Engineering

  • Developing new software for automating tests or creating new tools
  • Taking measurements to characterize
  • Checking that our products meet the intended requirements

Analog design Engineering

  • Architecting, designing, and verifying analog circuits such as OPAMPS, oscillators, ADC’s, DAC’s ++ for our IoT products.
  • Developing simple designs, working on layouts, running simulations, and doing measurements in the lab

Development Tools

  • Designing world-class software and hardware tools for Silicon Labs’ portfolio of current and future microcontrollers, wireless devices, and sensor devices.

Who You Are

We are looking for talents studying in Norway, currently in their third or fourth year of a master's degree in computer science, electronics, cybernetics, physics, mathematics, nanotechnology or similar

You are considered to be enthusiastic and creative, analytical, a troubleshooter, a communicator, and a team player

A summer job in Silicon Labs will allow you to learn a lot about world-changing IoT technologies and to have interesting tasks where you have to find the solutions yourself while having fun!

Summer internships start in mid-June 2023 and we expect you to work for 7-8 weeks.
